Just wanted to let you know that I’m so glad I found your blog. I have wanted to introduce my 3 young children to the great outdoors, especially camping. So after several years of saving, researching, combing the ads, and diligently working to convince my husband, I finally found our first popup! We recently bought it and pulled our baby home! Best thing is our first camping trip is less than a month away!!! Thanks for inspiring and encouraging us with your remodels and great ideas. First thing on my list will be to add LED lighting to our popup. Thanks Larissa!

That makes me so happy to hear, Shelly. I want to hear all about your first camping trip when you get back! 😀

I am so happy I stumbled upon your site. I was just beginning to get the itch to camp again, which is so odd to me because I don’t like camping because it’s hard for me to do things I have no idea how to do and I hate sitting around doing nothing. Anyways, you have made your pop up beautiful and you have given us wonderful tips. Last month we bought a used pop up, a few things to accessorize it (I lifted a few of your purchases) and currently we are out at the lake setting it up. Long, rambling comment, but thanks Larissa!

Awesome! I can’t wait to see pictures, Kendra! 🙂

You have been our inspiration and we can’t thank you enough for all your tips and advice. My husband and I are long time campers, starting out with a tent, then a cute little 13 ft retro camper to an 18 ft. Trailer when the kids got too big and now downsizing to a pop up since the kids are on their wn now (but somehow still manage to show up for a couple of days of our camping trips!). We bought a used pop up last Fall and my husband has been fine tuning it for our big 5 week trip out west this summer. He even put a toilet in it for me for those late night trips to pee! Our first trip was to South Carolins and the beach in April and even our dog found it comfy! I haven’t decided how to redecorate the popper yet but love looking at all the ideas! Thanks again for a wonderful blog, I look forward to your adventures too!

I grew up with a pop-up, but since having kids, we’ve been tent campers only. I’m stalking Craigslist like crazy, hoping to find a good deal, and love your site for all kinds of inspiration! Thanks for doing it!!!
Larissa says
Awesome, Heather! You’ll find one. It took us a year to find the perfect one, but we’re so glad we waited for right one. 🙂

Hi Larissa! I am so glad to have stumbled upon your site. We just purchased our 98 Coleman Grandview at a steal of a price. It looks just like yours (minus all of the upgrades, of course)! We have a badly delaminated roof that at times looks like balloons are under it! We also have cracks galore. After looking at your site and the pup forums on the pup portal, we have decided to rip off the ABS shell and apply Grizzly Grip. I’m so excited to start this process. Our trailer is gently used on the inside and other than the roof, we are super happy with it. I am so amazed by all of your DIY projects and can’t wait to get started on mine. We haven’t taken it out yet and the kids (we have three) are itching to go! I will be checking your site for more amazing inspirational projects. Keep them coming!
